McMoms History
McMoms was founded in 1979. It's founding members Kathy Rawls & Kathy McCormick met at the mall while pushing their twins. They quickly learned that there were both members of clubs in two different cities and decided that the mid-cities area needed a club. The original club name was Mid-Cites Parents of Twins & Triplets (McPotts); the name was changed to Mid-Cities Mothers of Multiples in 1990 after the club's first quadruplet mom joined.
McMoms joined the Texas Mothers of Multiples in February 1980.
McMoms hosted the following TMOM conventions: Mini-Convention (Nov. 1990) and TMOM Convention (April 2001)
McMoms hosted a National convention in July 1995.
McMoms has had 2 members who have served as TMOM Presidents: Ali Maddox (1999-2001) and Cindy Broder (2013-2015)
McMoms joined the Texas Mothers of Multiples in February 1980.
